I can't do it.  Bill always jokingly suggests that I should write a cook book, but I have one major fault that would hinder its success...I can't measure.  I start out a recipe sort of measuring ingredients and then just get tired with the process and toss items in as my eye sees fit.  So, I can not fulfill my promise of smoothie recipes, but I will tell you what I put in them and you can experiment...
*I hate using ice for smoothies because it makes them, well, icy.  I keep frozen fruit on hand and freeze bananas when they start to turn bad.  This way, I never have to use ice.  You could also freeze the milk or juice in ice cube trays and throw a couple in if your fruit isn't frozen.  I always use soy milk and stevia as my sweetener, but you can use whatever you like.  We also usually toss in some probiotic powder...could use yogurt, but I hate it.*
Green Smoothie: 1 frozen banana, about 3-4 large kale leaves with stems removed, light original soy milk, 1 stevia packet, vanilla extract.
PB Smoothie: 1 frozen banana, pb (maybe 1/4c?), 1 stevia packet, light original soy milk, vanilla extract or cocoa powder (you could eliminate the stevia and flavoring and use chocolate soy milk)
Orange Julius: 1 frozen banana, 3 parts OJ and 1 part soy milk, 1 stevia packet, vanilla extract. Should be more of a drink than a smoothie (thinner).
Choc/Strawberry: A handful of frozen strawberries, soy milk, chocolate soy milk or 1 stevia packet, soy milk, and cocoa powder.
Kade's Fave: A handful of each frozen strawberries and mangos, sunflower seeds, soy milk, 1 stevia packet or agave nectar.
MMM, enjoy!
